The first thing to do is identify your niche and market your business to them. If you are into Fashion shoots, advertise to Girls with this interests, If you are into sports, advertise to dudes! See my point?

Step one:
Get Advertising Material, such as Business cards, Flyers, Posters, Brochures and of course a WEBSITE!! ( be careful, advertising material could get very expensive)

Step two:
Word of mouth is by far the best and cheapest way to advertise, get your family members and friends involved they will help and some times it will be all you need.

Step three:
Offer FREE stuff, this always works! FREE shoots, once a month. If they like what you do, they will be talking to everyone about you and your services.
Free shoots yes but you get to charge for the prints and for any editing!!

Step Four:
Post your business cards or flyers on as many places as possible: Starbucks and Walmart boards, Schools and Laundry Rooms.

Step FIVE:
Start all over again, endless marketing is the key for a successful business.
